PIPS or Pakistan International Public School & College is situated in Abbottabad. It was founded in 1981 by Retired Brig. Akber, who served as a principal in Army Burn Hall college. He later hired some of the teachers from burn hall in his school. The school, like many others in Abbottabad is divided into separate sections for boys and girls. The school and college showed excellent results from its starting years and dominated the Abbottabad educational board exams. The school and college both provide boarding. Students from all around the country reside here. The college showed impressive results in O'Levels, F.Sc Intermediate and Matriculation Exams. Brig. Akber and Brig. Ehsan now administrate the college. Currently, there are over 2000 students studying in the school, about 1000 in college, with a highly qualified faculty of 100 teachers.
